Nope. GC (German Castrol 0w30) is BMW LL-01.
U can google for more details. Its one of those top notch oil.

My bad, I didn't see the edge with syntec on the page. Castrol changed the original GC packaging , eh? May try this out next time. Give us a review after 5k?

This how the GC look like.
Its the only Castrol oil that is Made in Germany. The rest of the Castrol ain't as good as this.

Oils that are LL01 have a much higher TBN ..... don't breakdown so fast. LL04 breakdown faster than LL01.

Bro,does it break down fast? My personal feel,shell breaks down 5k like tat n engine really feels rough.

An update:

The freaking knock knock steering sound is back! CCB....
Friday took ride back in the night. Drove back and find that its normal.
Saturday and Sunday no activities just basically washed car.
Today drove to work and realised the knocking sound is back when stationary.
Now if drive slow and turn steering to full lock there will be sound along the way...
Worst is steering is slightly to the left along straight roads..

PML really world class... call my ask my SA.
He say get back to me. Then have to wait until i call then he tell me no replacement car only taxi voucher.
CCB... freaking waste of time. They really think i eat free nothing do...

Nope on stock suspension. The sound is a steering related issue bro, yet they seem to be dragging their feet on a thorough solution

Icic. Bt mayb can bring 2 outside workshop 2 check then go back kp. Since pml de mech smlj also dun noe then try seek 2nd opinion.

I did ask my SA, he say bring in and check. Nv really give me a definite ans.
Down time is 1 day. How long did they take to change ur steering rack n column?

1 things i wanna say... my interior is beige, and they damn cb...
when i collected my car the interior (Arm rest, door panel and both front seats) were full of black oils patches.
They really freaking know how to make u piss off...

Bro,check ur rim also. Heard frm ppl tat rim using hub ring wil cos vibration in high speed. Low speed im nt sure. Bt it could b sth so simple bt yet ppl wont notice.

My car last had this issue last time but only at full lock and moving.

The mechanic at boss hoisted the car up. removed the metal board (covers the engine bay) from below the car ....... and started hammering the thing like a iron smith.

Fix back. Test. No more sound. He said something about the FCA joints knocking the board. Since cannot adjust the joints he whack the board and change the shape a bit.

Took it back to PML at Kg Arang. SA said its normal....

2nd opinion at MA. SA say not normal and escalate to BMW Asia. Apparently, reply back was... you guess's it, Normal...

I know I should not accept... But what can they do? the way I understand, If BMW Asia will not honour the warranty, they will lose out if they carry out any work...

What I meant is i will not accept the explanation from BMW Asia. I will forward the email upward to CEO for clarification. The email add is available in Bayerische Motoren Werke AG - Munich, DE-DE, 49-89-382-0

Yup changed and sound is back. U shouldn't live with the stains in your interior, go fxxk them up pls, this ain't right man!!!

Well, with the reply from BMW Asia attached, die die someone from Munich has to answer. Once the matter is sort out, it has to be reported back to CEO based on German SOP.

Somemore BMW is very proud of their sound engineering. Is this within the scope of design?
