Just came back from PML.
Wasted trip! SA told me to go back while he check with higher management for the needed action.
Next week then will know how to solve. Really damn waste of time.
But at least i still get to keep my car.

sometimes have to bang table. its part of life ..... with PML.

I have the same problem as in the video.

Took it back to PML at Kg Arang. SA said its normal....

2nd opinion at MA. SA say not normal and escalate to BMW Asia. Apparently, reply back was... you guess's it, Normal...

Yup, SA says he need to as high authority (BMW Asia i suppose).
Don't know what to do now also. Damn waste of time.

I think if the next time round cannot solve then i will ask to speak to their manager.
Now still early. Anyway 1 more week, if no answer then i jump.

If really no respond, i think i will write on their FB page and seek their higher management to look into this.

I will start abt 12pm. Should take 3 to 4hrs. I bought claybar and wax to maintain it.
So it's gonna be a long long job!

Latest update: Last week SA told me by this week they will give me an ans. Yesterday evening called SA and i was informed that i have to wait another week!

Can i get a lawyer to write to them and ask them to solve the bloody issue?

Bro,can try. I heard frm fren tat his fren got a bloody lemon 5series n got a 7series. Bt no nid top up old loan n juz pay new 7series nia. Bt i dun noe how true lah

Hi mate,

It definitely not normal. I encountered this problem last month so i went back to PML as it's still covered under warranty. Inexperienced or lazy service advisor would just lubricate the steering but the problem persist. On the next visit , I went to look for my mum service advisor as he was on leave on my first few visit. The moment i told him about the steering sound, He told me he gotta replace the steering switch (I forgot the compartment name) and the problem never come back again.
