yup...can feel the engine vibration for both driver and passenger seat ....PML take two day to check but don't know how to resolve the issue. Any other qualified specialist know how to diagnose the B48 engine in SG

well if you like to have a second opinion you can try BVO or Juzz4car. Mine not PML but definitely do not have such issue.

@davidmax - I experienced the same problem. 1st time experienced this in Feb, car was 3 months old. The issue was 1 of the Fuel injector faulty. Changed and the issue was fixed. Problem occured again and brought the car back to workshop, they checked and could not diagnose the issue. They told me cleared the carbon in the Throttle Body and asked me to monitor. 2 months later issue happened again - car engine vibration when idling, especially during cold start.

If you/any Bros have any updates/insights into this issue kindly let me know.
Similarly I'll update if I get any info on this issue.

Some of us contributed on the whatsapp group what could be possible causes of vibration but we are not mechanics,suggest to bring to 3rd party workshop and pay for some diagnostic to be done and return back to PML and tell PML to check on those areas that were highlighted by 3rd party WS.....hope this helps...hope u can update us what was the issue was its resolved..

Causes of Vibrations

Vibration increases as rpm increases-Engine Mounting or transmission mounting

Vibration at idle and higher revs-Injectors,spark plugs,dirty intake valves/intake issues,Double Vanos issues,intake manifold sensor faulty,dirty throttle body,02 sensor,crankshaft damper(for diesels)

Vibration during braking-Control arms,suspension bushings,alignment issue,warped rotors,uneven pad/rotor wear.

Always good to send in to look for fault codes/shadow codes for diagnostics

If u neee a WS,just try any on the workshop sponsors....

G30 is only 1 year old, i’m surprise to see this issue. But can’t say for diesel motor if not driven 200% to ensure they are clean from carbon build up.

PML spend two day to check and conclusion is "Can't identify the problem" so that's why i need to find a qualified BMW service team in Singapore to check the mentioned issue. I guess most of the G30 driver do have such issue but they thought is normal

PML do realize the engine vibration is a issue but they still can't resolve my issue up to now

Another issue will be our B pillar ...any driver realize that's a smell from both side of the B pillar for 530i M sport package

Hope G30 B48 engine don't have any engine misfire issue otherwise the engine will shut down anytime when we're driving

No smell noticed on my 530i M-sport since Apr 2017

@Sarthkg lucky you .... i'm going to replace the B pillar soon. Will find out why the B pillar material deteriorate and create a smell

If the material deteriorated then it’s unacceptable for such a new car!

Please let us know your findings, will be interesting to know the reason. I personally never came across such issues.
