But used car dealers...sigh...this one especially pissed me off....

Bought a used PI car from them . Say got warranty then later after I sign and pay say change name Liao no warranty then say will settle the warranty cost then...

Don pick up my phone like ball-less prick

my buddy sold his 6-series privately and after 1.5 months the gearbox cui
my buddy had to forked out $4k to fix the gearbox ... buyer throw lemon law

Lemon law only applicable when business sell to consumer. Private seller to private buyer not applicable...
Your friend a used car dealer? If not he kena f*^ked...

Sorry to hijack your thread.. I gotten my another car from them..
Sales was fast & nego was straightforward.
Made my 1st installment & down payment to them.. till today no letter from bank for the 2nd.. went onemotoring only have my current asset and not the new car under my name... Rang the bank.. Best.. No existing bank loan under my name...

Rang the sales person Roy.. no answer, 2nd time off mobile..
Call the company, he's not in.. example to him, he told me 'Oh lidat ar' i check & call u back.. he wanted to end call.. den i said.. hello.. u dun have my mobile phone number how u call me back.. moreover my mobile phone is private..

Hi wt_know,

Under lemon law, previous owner also have to be responsible if direct sale to new owner ?
I tot it applies to purchase from car dealer only.

i also thought so but no time to settle disputes..

what u pay is what u get....sometimes its better to pay a bit more n use someone with more repute....

Just reasonable not really a good deal.. well it's the experience i guess.. I would rather pay more and less hassle next time..

Done but not much information especially when there's so many dealers in the market..

Sorry to hear that, guess they really don't care about more business.. Haha.. Take it as lesson learnt, and pls stay away from this car dealer...

Actually i am also in a fix exactly like you. Just to let you know that the shop had closed down.
i went to LTA to find out that the car i bought is under another agent name which LTA said cannot tell
till i bring my sales agreement down. Going to bring it down tomorrow to see how.
