good buy?

Re: good buy?

I think people here will be able to help you better if you state the engine capacity of the E90 you're considering.

Re: good buy?

Is this a gd buy?

e90 12/2006 2 owner, mileage 50k 75k?
The mileage is on the high side, price is good though (assuming E90 320)

Re: good buy?

its 320, omv ard 42k coe 14k...this is the cheapest i found...2.5yrs 50km high meh? ard 20km per yr lo :)

Re: good buy?

Price very good. Straight line depreciation to 10th year is < $7k. (Of course, actual loss is another thing.)

50k km mileage is not high. But be careful, that the ex-owner may have left a lot of things for you to repair/replace.

Re: good buy?

if i am not wrong ... the location of the car is at holiday inn near zouk.
there are a lot of used car traders there

me had previously bought a volvo s60 from another trader located in that building
my that car was a company car that was driven by a angmoh
the car was not well loved but the price was attractive

but i had never encountered a dealer by name of robert tan ... but then ... robert tan is such a common name

Re: good buy?

Saw a few cars registered in 12/2006 with a mileage of 35K to 40K only. But 50K still acceptable lah. C3P0 is right, the owner may have left a lot of parts for you to replace considering he is letting go at this price. Some examples are air-con compressor, air-con coil, engine oil seal, radiator seal etc etc which could cost you a few more thousands

just curious..will a red color 320 be harder to sell off in future??
Most important is whether you like it or not, resale in future is of less priority

while i guess it's a matter of "willing to" and "able to" make it less of a priority, especially if one is just looking at a short term drive?

Owning a 4 wheeler in SIN is dammed ex with high depreciation, so a short term drive is not justifiable, not forgetting the difficulty of reselling a 2nd (or 3rd) hand car. It might be better off renting one.

regret, saw the red color 320 was sold at the sgmart site, are you the buyer?

Re: good buy?

haha ... good buy is very fast one. i remember before i commit a new ride, i went to PPSL and shortlisted 2 rides. 1 = really like, the next day sold. 1 = somewhat like, take a few days to see see look look again, go back in < 1 week, also sold. then decided to get a new ride. no regret ! happy hunting :nehnehhh:

I experienced the same, I called the agent and was told the car was still available but when I reached there (less than 1 hour), it was sold! (the agent told me the buyer did'nt even bargain)

Re: good buy?

Another red E90 was advertised and sold in sgmart within a single day!
