I went to check out this car earlier in the day
Used BMW 320i XL Car for Sale from Singapore, Hin Lung Credit - sgCarMart
HL actually advertised $95K in Sunday's paper. I find their service not very professional. When I went, a "everything also dunno" uncle attended to me, then referred me to a young man which took a long time coming. Even when he attended to me, he never even seems interested in anything. You know those type that seems to put a Full Stop to very question that I asked. We weren't going anyway except he said he can give me $94K and best int rate is 2.98% and I must take financing through them. After I bugged him for a long time did he tell me they can do 2.68% through Tokyo Leasing but it's very hard to get 90%. Well, maybe I look poor enough to him.
Anyway, the story about this car is that it's original colour is black, and the owner resprayed it because he didn't like black. And this 320 is one of six Bimmers he has, and he traded this to Hin Lung for a 330. And the change in colour hasn't been notified, it's still classified as Black with LTA.
So will there be complications since the colour has been changed and not logged? Any of you happen to know the history of this ride? I gotta say that the attitude and the change in colour bother me, though the car seems to be in great shape (pending diagnosis by the pros)
Lastly, when I checked the service booklet, the registered owner's address is a HDB address at Pasir Ris, seems a bit odd for an owner of six Bimmers.
Any advice?
