That was quite some time when the BMW enthusiasts know about this. Guess it was accepted.

We also know that some Toyotas are assembled in Thailand, but I did not hear any whining from the Toyota owners.......

or u could have just selected the cheapest 6 cyl models, those come from Germany......... wonder it that matters ......now a days BMW quality is down the tubes.......... even for MB!!!!!!!!

But whats wrong with made in South Africa. Almost all 3 series in Singapore are imported from the SA plants.

I made a mistake telling u our car made in Germany, haha.. The sales person should have told u when u buy your car. Didn't he? At least mine told me.

Even the Merc C-class also SA made

The only car in that class made in Germany is the Audi A4... C-Class and 3-Series all made in SA... Re the top end models such as the Ms and the AMGs, I'm not sure.....

hi!!! if you are interested, i have a german nade 320i with extra specs for sale. the specs are,
My bmw 320i is one of the few in singapore manufactured in germany. the extra options it has are,
i bought the car in june 2005 so it still has 1 and a half year of warrenty left
1) extra omv of 10000k which means its omv is around 56000K
2) it has 4 way lumber support for both front seats
3)it has anti dazzle exterior and interior mirrors
4) active sports steering
5) 17 inch rims and run flat tyres
6) chrome exhaust pipe
7) wood trimming instead of the aluminium
Hence , it is a very unique 3 series.
the color is monacco blue.
i am looking for $125000

E90 330i is made in South Africa too, only E46 330i last time was made in Germany; all other E46 are made in South Africa.

C-Class Coupe are stil made in Germany.

Well, I think there is a difference.... but do we have a choice??? NO.....

For example, the previous A6 made in China was cheaper than its smaller brother, the imported A4..... and there is a difference in quality....

As for the 3 series, I haven't seen both the MADE IN GERMANY and the MADE IN SA cars....
