Re: Inccident i account in Holland village

Actually I would like to retract my use of the word racist. What we are doing here - DrK nicely put it - is stereotyping. We do it in every walk of life, and some stereotypes are true.

Only problem is that the ones built on the basis of porn movies are never true! Damn!

Seriously I dont bother what race you belong to but I would have imagine that you must be an Indian from your argument... If you think the choice of words that I used is racist, dont tune to Channel 5 and stay away from the Noose..

Follow my post...I make fun of all nationalities and race...but its soley for fun and not too overboard..

Since I AM obviously an Indian (if my posts didnt hint towards it ;-)).

Here's a comparison of driving standards I have learnt after living all over the world.

Three countries - UK, Singapore and India. Driving rules are identical as they are based on the old british laws.

UK - you follow every damned rule down to the letter. Otherwise you lose your license very fast.

India - you dont follow any of the rules if you want to reach home, preferably in one piece. Swerving, honking, shouting, speeding are a way of life

Singapore - follow such rules as might not inconvenience you, personally, at the choice of time and place independent of traffic conditions

Who likes black on blonds or whites on japs? Some indians one can also be quality but they are rare to come by.

Yes I would attest to the fact that 'pawn' unites racism. We should elect a pawnstar for the UN!

Count to 10 and move on. If need to "educate" the driver who made a mistake please refrain from using violence and harsh language. Being able to forgive others is something not achievable by everyone. But farking others can be accomplish by any tom, dick and harry. A poor but high class uncle say one.

But I think Ang Mo cyclists are the worst of all. I almost got into a fist fight with one of them near my house. I was keeping a safe distance of about a metre away from him and he suddenly just flanked out almost hitting my car. He still had the audacity to show the middle finger. I really lost it at that point...
I have to agree with you on this though I don't like your chest hair.

They have to understand that this is a small country with many many cars and all the drivers damn fed up after a day of work after being tekan by customers/suppliers/bosses/pantry aunties. So they can't cycle as though they own the road and that all vehicles should give way to them.

Singaporeans don't even give way to motorbikes, cars, buses, lorries, what makes them think that we will give way to bicycles?
