Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

Hi Guys and Gals,

Wondering if any of you are currently servicing your bimmer at Juzz for Cars or Starblack. Need some feedback on both these guys regarding their pricing, service standards, knowledge of the car or other factors that made you chose or not chose them.

Appreciate any honest feedback you might have.

Thanks.

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

some of the comments can be very touchy. but my experiences at J4Cars is that i stood there at the entrance of the workshop for 10-15 mins and none of the worker or staff even bother talking to me as if i was transparent eventhough i am looking at a workshop to install a set of cams onto my car.

I guess they are already very established and busy to take on any more jobs or even talk to potential customers.

Just my 2 cents,

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

mate,
since j4c opened for biz in 1999 all my rides and my company rides have been serviced there.
complaints? some but not major and once i pointed out the issues, they are rectified asap.
furthermore, if you are not too far geographically, theres pick-up and drop-off service as well.
and, once the cars are done theres a super grooming service - JUZZ BRILLIANT there to ensure besides TLC in the mechanicals, theres also the same TLC for that kim-kim-goot-goot look. i will stay with them.

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

ALL I CAN SAY IS AVOID ANYTHING WITH "STAR" IN THEIR NAME. I had the shittiest incident when my car had to be repaired due to an accident with Star Auto which is the parent company. The service is shoddy, the workshop manager totally unethical, dishonest and irresponsible. Look up my other post on "Horrific experience with STARAUTO". The whole company is operated by a bunch of :bullshit:. And I wouldn't hesitate to say that to anybody!!!!

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

For STAR, I have vastly different customer service experiences by the 2 different outlets. The one at Portdown Road was very professional and I was very satisfied with the quality of their paintwork. However, I also went to the one in Eunos in a separate occasion and that was really a shitty experience and poor quality workmanship.

Either Boss or BVO.......

Boss has the technical knowledge and the service attitude. The spread of talents previously from J4C (Calvin) and BVO (David) means you know the person handling your car....... lots of personal touches......

BVO has Ah Wee. Need to say more?

the grooming service comes complimentary with each service or got to pay?

Car wash is free, not grooming. But usually I only let them wash my rims and vacuum the interior.

thanks bro for additional feedback

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

Anyone tried Tropical Success in AMK? Shop owner previously from PML. I have been with this workshop quite a while, good service, very knowlegeable in Bimmers and friendly staffs but price not as cheap though.

to clarify, the complimentary wash is provided by J4C, not Juzz|Brilliant.

Re: Juzz 4 Cars or Starblack???

my first encounter with bimmer workshop is J4C. of cos i ever tot of other workshops. i did all my 130i servicing at J4C, and felt confident and find that snowdog is quite honest on those questions i threw at him. i did my 130i exhaust at other workshop and went back there for service, and snowdog still greets me like a old pal. now my 525i......just ordered an exhaust from J4C though ppl keeps telling me 'exhaust you must always go to a exhaust workshop.....' but all i can say is that i'm comfy at J4C. my car will be servicing there soon too....
cheers

I was also 'seduced' by starblack's 5 years warranty before but when taking a closer look at the fine print, it excludes coverage for the air-con compressor and coil, which are critical.

Ahem, see my original post for clue. But to be fair, everywhere is almost same, even if we wash ourself there will be accidental marks ,....
