Whatever policy changes there are in place..one thing will never change...

I think when from now onwards I see BMW with carplates starting SKK++ I would salute them..
COE high+50% loan+ 5 years max... Icecream leaw~

Mine is a BMW 325 E93 2009 with OMV 62000 if I'm not wrong.
10 years go "tai chai" get back 31000++
Buy back same model around 300000
cash upfront 150000-31000=119000cash..
If I come out 100k cash, IRAS will hamtam me or not??
or Renew COE if it really WILL fall to 30k???
Jialat leaw... Better enjoy my joy of driving these 6 years...
PS: Thank you to my friend whom "saiko" me to buy this car and dispose my old E36...

Moving the discussion forward... if MAS backtracks oops I mean tweaks its rules from 50%/5 years to say 30%/7 years, would policymakers then be:

a) listeners who are adaptable and sympathetic to the people's concerns; or
b) inconsistent flip-floppers who didn't do their homework in the first instance?

i am pretty sure.. 50%.. 5 years will be relaxed when all the central banks slow down their printing press...

Moving the discussion forward... if MAS backtracks oops I mean tweaks its rules from 50%/5 years to say 70%/7 years, would policymakers then be:

a) listeners who are adaptable and sympathetic to the people's concerns; or

yesterday I was too free, so went to volvo and audi showroom walk walk...it is amazing how quiet the showrooms are.

Anyway, I honestly think the 50% loan might not affect many of the big car buyers. Coz some times back when paying for my downpayment in cash after office hour, my se just take and put in her handbag, like tissue paper like that. Seems they are very used to carrying a lot of cash around...
