That humming noise is rather irritating when traveling around that speed & previous owner paid for extended warranty. Since it is covered, I will make full used of it. Well, I do enjoy this ride despite this issue & planning some DIY add-on features to it.

Thks bro. Only works when connected to phone and stil depend on phone model. Our 316i is quite skeletal. This fuction is not avail in our hu. Need to change hu to get it work

Bro..I think can ignore it. The phone one also cannot mske it. Not user fault

Hi guys. I tried it on mine. Apparently it works for voice control. Can use to change entertainment mode and even GPS.

328 is better .. they use 328 and 420 for "advanced" driving experience...

Ah ok. I thought there's GPS as long as the iDrive is there. Sorry dudes. Wrong information given to you guys. Anyway, the GPS is a pain to use. By the time you finish entering the destination, you'd have probably reached.

Haha yes that's the other issue with the GPS. And recently it's not been that accurate. As in the current positioning of the car. More features gives rise to the possibility of more problems. But it's been a great drive nonetheless. I think most of us can agree on that!

Ya totally agree! Instead of having to pay like $100+ for updates every now and then. And looking at the rate the govt is changing the roads I think we would prob have to update it again soon.

I did enquire about it. But they said my version is the latest. Just got the car this year though. Will be looking to see if they will continue to provide the free updates the next time round.
