With re-programming? If you want to re-programme as well, most shops will need to get from the coder which will need prior arrangement.

If I am not mistaken, the brakes might over perform for the code, so you are not really harnessing the full potential of the brakes.

Alcon emailed a notice saying no such coding needed so maybe just a simple installer who knows BMW stuff? Or just wait for Monday he he he...

That's what the distributor of alcon in Singapore told me also... But I've read on US forums that some people complained of reduced braking effectiveness @ high speeds (esp under track usage) that the brakes lock easily and the abs keeps actuating, thus reducing the effectiveness...

Please do give ur feedback as I am also interested in replacing my m perf ones with alcon

Congrats...! Kindly share yr dyno, believe u can do better than US by using 98 octane over here.

No leh. They require 93oct(us) for maps. This is equal to 98 that we have here

Someone posted in US claimed 100oct compared to 93oct made lots of diff, I believe 98 or Vpower will make a diff too! B.Motor able to tweak PSI slight higher for 98?

They use Aki there .... We use Ron here.

When the maps say this:
Map 2: Peak boost 21psi, suggested for those using a downpipe and 93 octane (USA) or higher fuels

This is equivalent to our 98 octane in Singapore. We are actually RON, but we seldom see that floating around in Sg, but more in Malaysia.

V Power is also 98 RON. Just with addictives.

Anyway, am running on map 2 at the moment, but w/o ER downpipe yet.

Feels a lot of difference already. Gonna get the ER dp and test again.
