due to the fact that it is F1 Sunday, I believe alot of us will be somewhere chillin out watching the race. As such it may be inconvenient to pop by Kallang to make payment. Nonetheless for those who will still be going down and paying in cash, I will be there from 4.30pm-6.30pm at Carpark F, eastern corner indicated by the map below.

Today i received a call from a legendary oldbird asking me the date of the party and said he will support and he will ask all the LJs to come too. I must say, though nothing is confirmed yet, but the thought of him saying he will support the event, actually touched my heart.

These people we so called Laojiaos are people who helped to build this forum and contributed a lot back into the forum during the initial years. However, as time passed, ppl move on and priority changed as well, old members left, new members joined, new members turned old members and left and another bunch of new members come and on and on..To be frank, its kind of sad to see what the forum has become lately,.. How many of you actually missed those morning drives that we met at 5am and those night drives we chatted till 3am? Those monthly meetups of 50 to 60cars that actually intimidated other car clubs?

To me, this 10th year anniversary is not just another D&D, it is actually an event to gather everyone who walked through these 10 years with BMW.SG. Be it legendary core group, the sharkie group, the admin group, or the freunde group... Aren't we all under the same roof called BMW.SG?

I just want to share how i felt after hearing from some old birds that i have not met for a long time, cos i really miss them a lot.. I myself know for sure, i will enjoy the night seeing all the old friends and meeting all the new friends.. i hope you will too...

I must applaud Babe and Ken and the unnamed others who have put in alot of effort in trying very very hard to make this D&D a memorable one. With everything almost all done, what's left is participation from members here. Not a difficult task. Just attend, have fun and enjoy.

But its rather sad and disappointing to learn that there are still some (in fact, many...) who have to be BEGGED to attend. If you don't want to attend, then don't tease, don't come to this thread to make no value added and silly comments or contact the organisers to ask dumb questions.

I am no saint in this Forum when it comes to meet ups and official events but this D&D is special cos its 10th anniversary and the people who take pains to organise this aren't even the 1st batch of members but they really take it upon themselves to do something nice and special. And that's why I decided to attend.

So as Clara said, please show support lah.

Today i received a call from a legendary oldbird asking me the date of the party and said he will support and he will ask all the LJs to come too. I must say, though nothing is confirmed yet, but the thought of him saying he will support the event, actually touched my heart.

These people we so called Laojiaos are people who helped to build this forum and contributed a lot back into the forum during the initial years. However, as time passed, ppl move on and priority changed as well, old members left, new members joined, new members turned old members and left and another bunch of new members come and on and on..To be frank, its kind of sad to see what the forum has become lately,.. How many of you actually missed those morning drives that we met at 5am and those night drives we chatted till 3am? Those monthly meetups of 50 to 60cars that actually intimidated other car clubs?

To me, this 10th year anniversary is not just another D&D, it is actually an event to gather everyone who walked through these 10 years with BMW.SG. Be it legendary core group, the sharkie group, the admin group, or the freunde group... Aren't we all under the same roof called BMW.SG?

I just want to share how i felt after hearing from some old birds that i have not met for a long time, cos i really miss them a lot.. I myself know for sure, i will enjoy the night seeing all the old friends and meeting all the new friends.. i hope you will too...

Remember our "Singapore Idol" nights? Ultimate warrior! People come and go but there are just some moments and times that is etched in us. We actually grow up with this forum...

Don't worry, this D&D will be a blast as long as Toto loses his car key again and that will be the grand prize for lucky draw!
