ben.. thanks for the points above.. but i also have some points though:

Do not ask Bmer to drink 5seconds (for sure u will kena 10seconds)
Do not ask Bmer to play 5 10 ( u will never win)
Do not ask Bmer to mix drinks (watever u can find at the bar, he will mix them in)
Do not ask Bmer to play strip game ( he will strip anywhere)

haha.. ok.. i shall stop here.. otherwise i will sure kena more from him... and STOP CALLING ME ONLAI..

Anyway,, to those who trying to cheer me up.. thanks guys and gals.. i am not sad lah.. haha.. i just want to find out what is wrong.. so that i can try to do something to it.. afterall.. i just hope that ppl come to this forum not only for technical knowldege..but also to have fun and make some friends like i did..

ok.. so what shall we do to this overseas drive? hmm... since quite a few cannot make it on that day.. i will KIV this drive first to a later stage.. may be we will do something locally instead ya..

Hi Guys

Just curious... why is the response so poor? I thought there was a thread early this year or end last year.. many forumers were asking for drive to malaysia?? IMHO, I don't know how to organise any more drive when ppl suggested but the response was so poor when I really organised it.

I really would appreciate some feedback so that i can make changes or watever to make it a better event.

i was one of those who suggested a drive "up north" ...

unfortunately ...

1. i'm not in town;
2. i'm a vegetarian ... so seafood won't help much; &
3. sundays preferred ... or else kids will take away the keys to the wheels ... & that won't help one bit ...

but still, i'd join in if i was in singapore.

incidentally, i read one of the other posts re: alternative places to drive to ... went to desaru golf course a few times ... good drive. tho it may need a rekkie to see if the road conditions are still good enuf.

Babe.... Not only that he will mix whatever is on the table... But probably its filled with juz alco and no other... Hahahaha...

I'm still okay with the overseas drive... Just update me... March seems to be a month packed with stuff... Probably try doing it on some other months...

Hi Lee.. thanks a lot.. tats very nice of you to lead the way for us, as we really don't know the way to si wan dao for sure. Some members told me they would love to go Malacca instead and we can have other foods instead of seafood. If so many of you still interested to go, can we have a new list and see whether we should proceed with this drive. Otherwise, I will just postpone it to next month when there are more ppl available..

Malacca also can,there's chicken rice ball and the famous lok lok steamboat.But malacca abit far,if we go on sun,come back quite tired,next day still have to work.I myself prefer on sat where we will have enough rest but then again some bros here have to work on sat,they are free only on sun.Anyway,to me is anything,anywhere.As long as there's good food.Ha...

how long to reach Malacca ?

Hi Teckheng.. 2hrs if fast driving.. 3hrs if normal driving.. both with convoy of 6 cars.. tested during our last year reccee drive..

Hi jin teck...stay overnite?? not sure how many r interested.. hmm... usually ppl prefer to go and back on the same day...

Guys..
i am so sorry......Can i change the date to 31Mar next saturday instead? Reason is because this week is too close and nothing has been confirmed.. and as wat some said.. if go on Sunday, next day will be too tired to work. I tried the last time, indeed its quite tiring when we reached singapore.

As most requested to go Malacca, reason being roads nicer to drive and more foods to eat. So i will change the destination to Malacca instead of Si Wan Dao. We will meet at Raffles Marina at 8AM and move off at 8:30AM. Those who don't want to drive in, can leave their cars at Raffles Marina and tonpang others who are willing to give rides, and share watever expenses involved.

Any problem?
