Hi fellow bro & sis,
Not sure if anyone had experienced this before.
I sent my car to Kg Arang this morning for 2nd oil service (mileage 49k) and also asked them to check inaccurate oil level sensor (I felt) and hard brake pedal in the morning. The CSA just called me and said they found sludge began to form in the engine oil that was causing the oil level sensor to be inaccurate! They drained out 6 litre of oil instead of 4.2 litre needed It will take them 2 days to flush and clean the oil sump, rocker box and other components, etc. and no replacement car is available:furious: I asked for explaination for the sludge forming and he said it may be due to the frequent short distance driving pattern I have (not reaching optimum engine temperature):screwedu:
Thought of sharing this lousy encounter with fellow forumers...
