I ask Guni already, but he didn't want...

Anyway, my monthly CC increases from $58 to $61 in Sep 2012. I suspect my MP passed on the cost of the calendar to the household. He is pretty good in that.

Edit: Chao turtle, just realised that the CC will go up again in Sep 2013, after the last increase in Sep 2012.

HOW COME GCB with yacht berth got monthly CC? You mean the Bangla scraping the barnacles off your yacht asked for a pay increase ah!?

Its a small price to pay compared to the amount of work to clean up all the soiled power sockets in his GCB.

Singapore Housing, Transport Strains Appeared Suddenly, Lee Says
Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Strains in the property market and transportation didn’t appear slowly and gradually after population increased, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said at a conference in Singapore today.
• Lee says his government has “paid a political price” after property market “went up with a vengeance”
• Singapore increased population at faster pace after 2005 to “make up for lost time” amid slower growth in earlier part of decade: Lee

im adament. if pap is to reconnect. they hvh to stop behaving elitist.

even china has doent that to those Mao targetted. they went even to the extent of saying MAOs model was wrong. some still worships Mao...but most others have moved away from him.

Mao was a model that was right n relevant then. he is now glorified for founding modern china. but nothing more. yes times have changed., we can still credit LKY for his role. but times changed. no longer need for high handedness.

He is either...
- a fool
- deaf and blind
- sleeping on the job
- totally lost touch with the ground
- on ivory tower clouded by clouds and cannot see
- too high on ivory tower where oxygen is too thin and brain not functioning
- have lower tier boot-lickers who keep feeding him with false inputs
- list goes on....

govt know the people will ask for the sky to make baby.
when i listen to the radio call in ... i was laughing non stop
a lot of callers ask for

1. give baby bonus
2. give free childcare
3. no maid levy
4. give 1st priority to 'preferred' school
5. give free education ... some asked until university
6. give 1st priority to hdb ... cheap and good best is in central core region

then another caller said .. might as well ask govt to do 1-dragon service

from baby > childcare > school > university > dating service > get married > hdb > making baby > cycle repeats

spoonfeed to the max ...

or yeah ... one more thing ... many asked for worklife balance in 'disguised' ... actually means no need to work but get super high pay

Isn't garmen the one who say need to increase population to 7M then lead to influx of foreigner then lead to so many social issue that made Singaporeans so pissed off?

CPI up and up and up like a tornado and many couples cannot even get a flat to stay in. If garmen is the says there is a need to increase population then it is not Singaporeans who are asking for the sky? But instead to have kids, you cannot be worrying if you have a shelter for them or a place in school for them.

Its true garmen cannot satisfy everyone but at least make sure basic necessities like roof over the head and education can be available and affordable.

Taking for granted or not then is a subjective issue and whatever policy implemented by garmen also will have people finding loopholes etc isn't it?

I have 2 young kids but it is not money I worry. It is the education system that sends chills down my spine. Everything is abt profit. Can you imagine your kids talk like businessman to you every time?

All I mean was garmen should do something for Singaporeans and if they think there is a need to increase population and the need to encourage birth rate, then do something more meaningful then to invest all our monies into the drain!
