If everytime a public service/utility company faces cost pressure, and wants to pass the cost to the people simply because they are monopoly/oligopoly and the people lan lan has no say, then I will also vote for opposition even if they sent in a exotic pole dancer. (No offence to Ken.)

Oh btw was going through the list of MPs, and found MBT's name. Almost forgot about him as he has really kept a low profile since GE 2011. His Tampines GRC is just next to the huge Aljunied-Hougang-Punggol territory. I hope WP sends in their best candidates to Tampines the next time round. Chao money face @#@@$@*

govt know the people will ask for the sky to make baby.
when i listen to the radio call in ... i was laughing non stop
a lot of callers ask for

1. give baby bonus
2. give free childcare
3. no maid levy
4. give 1st priority to 'preferred' school
5. give free education ... some asked until university
6. give 1st priority to hdb ... cheap and good best is in central core region

then another caller said .. might as well ask govt to do 1-dragon service

from baby > childcare > school > university > dating service > get married > hdb > making baby > cycle repeats

spoonfeed to the max ...

or yeah ... one more thing ... many asked for worklife balance in 'disguised' ... actually means no need to work but get super high pay

Isn't it sad that govt needs to use $2b to push fertility rate up by 22 basis pts? Every basis pts would worth $90m.

They are still elected MPs. They were lucky the opposition was not strong enough in their wards in the last GE.....

I just received not too long ago a 2013 calendar from my MP. Every month's calendar got his face, so total 12. I am willing to give it free to anyone who wants it. It will give good luck to anyone because that MP's name is very auspicious, starts with $$$$ aka Lui.

I ask Guni already, but he didn't want...

Anyway, my monthly CC increases from $58 to $61 in Sep 2012. I suspect my MP passed on the cost of the calendar to the household. He is pretty good in that.


Edit: Chao turtle, just realised that the CC will go up again in Sep 2013, after the last increase in Sep 2012.
