Riot at little india
Agree on that point.
FT/FW who made a decision to sink roots here or FT/FW who are here to survive - all need mutual respect.
One of my best friend is an Indian that is born and bred in SG. Known him for 25 years. His father worked as a jaga for 50 years here. My friend married his girlfriend from india and he visits his relatives in Punjub all the time. He told me respect is important else society would disintegrate. Also told me that respect is more important to him than me because he is part of the minority.
I worked with him doing stuff back then. When I first met him - I slapped his turban and he nailed me to the wall - clearly I did not respect him and I kena.
These FT/FW are here to stay. Onus is on the locals (since we are the majority) to give respect ........ else face the consequences.
** And I am not one of those jokers who is saying that the riot is sparked by some rude mofos etc ...... this is about the general mentality towards these FT/FWs.
** Still think SPF could have done better ........

the other day I shared the lift with my neighbour....a FT swedish family.
then the wife said 'we should get together for dinner sometime'.... I dunno if she meant 1 on 1 with her or together as a family.... a lot can get lost in translation when you have a swedish blond bombshell as a neighbour....

And the cost of living there is way more than what we are experiencing here. Look at the property prices there.
