One workshop recommended replacing the entire gearbox, which is an expensive affair if you get a recon box from Germany.
Just got a second opinion yesterday from another workshop that specialises in transmission that the problem lies with the valve control unit (not sure if I got the term right) which is part of the gearbox. Am considering getting that replaced next week...will keep you posted.

mine's already not under warranty.
i was told that reflashing the gearbox programme would costs around 300 bucks and prob 1-2 days job.

Had this same problem, it's very uncomfortable. Realised that do not have this prob when the car just started i.e. still cool. After that, prob comes in. Sometimes the jerk is quite harsh, having getting used to it, can minimise with a bit of foot work.

Renyu;508759 said::screwedu:I don't think anyone would wanna pay that amount unless their car is in warranty and PML is willing to do that for them..
