Good win, but worrying signs from two injuries on the first team centrebacks......

next 2 games vs Spurs and Arsenal, the backline could be:

Smalling, Jones, Evanns, Fabio......:p

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

How good is de gea?? He look abit skinny , I think he is too light weight to be in bpl.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Weakness is the handling of crosses.... too indecisive and lightweight.......

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

all the bpl spies are now eyeing on de gea... will be shot on sight for most of them! as for crosses, will need more protection from 2c/back.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Goodbye Cesc... thanks for the great 8 years.

Now if Wenger doesnt spend, we will be doomed this season.

Next season will be even worse as more players will definitely be leaving.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Arsenal game, I would have been embarassed by Song's stamp on Joey Barton' leg but after seeing him manhandle Gervihno and then only get a yellow card I wish Song had stamped on his balls instead

Joey Barton what a twat. I think everybody hates him.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Barton is like the modern-days Dennis Wise..as once Fergie commented about Wise that he could "start a fight in an empty house"

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Sorry, I took my words back on Joey Barton = Roy Keane. I think he is more like Dennis Wise/Robbie Salvage and Roy Keane combined.

and Vinny Jones too.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I used to think that Joey Barton should go to Arsenal on a free transfer....not anymore.
