The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

looks like fergies mind games prior to this match for gerrad not being penalised for this game worked on the referee. referee was biased

Games at this level are decided by small details.
and the ref was an influence.
too many stray passes and too little creativity down the flanks for Liverpool.
heart breaking result.

but i will still be wearing my jersey tomorrow morning.

and do shopping plus kopi on friday....

I agree somewhat, but I think fair result. Torres had a bad game. Gerard was shut down. Rest of Liverpool played like they have secured the 4th spot. No hunger at all.

Man U side, Rooney is hungry, Fletcher is hungry......

dun like fletcher.
but nb he was everywhere. make carrick pale in comparison.
if only park can be stronger.........he would be top class.

if liverpool dun secure 4th spot, can man utd buy torres? plssssss

Torres will be a good acquisition for Man U, though I think he will prefer Man C or Chelsea if he remains in England. There will also be more $$$ on the table too.

I think he will choose a proven winner if he leaves ... Man Utd will be a good choice.

bros.
Calling all Liverpool fans.

I will be catching the Man U vs Liverpool game at hotel Rendevous, Courtyard.
It is the Live Game meet up location for the Official Liverpool Fan Club(Singapore).
Any bros who wants to watch there and soak up the atmosphere can call me
at 96883273.

There we sing LFC anthems, wave LFC flags and scraves and basically sing/shout our throats hoarse.

cheers.

guess you guys still have your throats for the week...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Frankly, the best strikers in BPL would be between Rooney, Torres, and Drogba.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

i rate van persie in that category too. but he is very injury prone

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Torres snubbed MU to go to Pool, remember? Maybe he was worried he can't understand SAF's Scottish accent. Or SAF's hairdryer will damage his pretty hair.

Torres and Michael Owen's style of play - high speed and turns - is also injury prone. But Torres of course a much better foil than Owen or even Berbatov.

Blackburn 1-1 Chelsea

Man U in hot form and Arsenal is still grinding out results to stay in the race, Chelsea is losing steam. The crown will go to whoever wins the Man U Chelsea clash on 3rd April...if draw, possible Arsenal may snatch it in the end.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Just put it this way - Man Utd is in control of its destiny at this point. So is Man City. Both are in the driver's seat - win all, take all.

Torres has said in an interview that if he ever leaves Liverpool, it will not be an english club.
He said something along these lines that in Spain, Atletico Madrid will be his only club he will ever play for, and in England, that team is Liverpool. He will never play for rivals of his former teams.

so if he does go. Serie A will be his destination, or probably Bundesliga.

unless he makes a dramatic U turn and make all his Liverpool fans and At. Madrid fans TL.
