Too many lost points due to poor goalkeeping this season...

Sian...but yesterdays pathetic lost was not only due to poor goalkeeping, but a lost of discipline from all the Arsenal players.

Also disagree with Wenger taking Walcott off...although he wasn't doing anything much, he was making sure the Wigan fullbacks don't advance too far up the pitch.

the special one and his team beats barca 3-1.... Italian team in finals? ;)

I think Jose will be the next Real Madrid manager.... even CR has said so...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

though i never like jose, he does have his strength.
i think he is eyeing SAF position.

why go to Real Madrid when is a one season job?

real madrid has zero tolerance for managers.... past few managers have been one season job.. haha...

jose really has good charisma and style that is proven to bring up the best in players... never liked him too....still young, may be a candidate for SAF's position when he retires (who knows when).... but I think it could be a former Man U player that takes over...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

bye bye barbie doll?

he definitely has some good touches, but he has not lived up to his price tag over the 2 seasons. SAF has given him plenty of chances already.

Dimitar Berbatov will be staying at Manchester United according to his agent, despite some below-par performances and reports linking him with a move away from the club.

Dimitar Berbatov has not scored in his last four outings for Manchester United

• Forum: Is Berbatov good enough?

Berbatov was brought to Old Trafford for over £30 million from Tottenham less than two years ago, but has not impressed in the absence of Wayne Rooney this season and Bayern Munich and AC Milan have been linked with bids.

Reports are rife that Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to sell the striker, but the Bulgarian's agent Emil Dantchev insists that he has not even talked with Sir Alex Ferguson about his client's future.

"The situation is clear, the future of Dimitar will still be at Manchester, he is happy there," he told Calciomercato. "A difficult relationship with Ferguson? I cannot and don't want to comment on these speculations from the press.

"I can only say that I have not scheduled any meeting with Ferguson, because there is no need."

He also denied specific speculation about Milan, adding: "I have read the article on Milan, I can just say that it is a market rumour and it is not real."

Kenntona's nick for him says it all - Bobotov.... lol

Reminds me of Andy Cole. Prolific before coming to MU, became better around the box with touches after becoming a Red Devil but needed 3 or 4 chances before scoring one. Except he actually finally flourished when partnered with Dwight Yorke.

Bobotov is still.... Bobotov....

Inter vs Bayern final? Probably one of the least expected combinations when the last 8 draw was made......

yeah man....who would've thought?
I was rooting for a Liverpool vs Man U final.
but still no certainty at this stage. :naughty:
I rememeber years ago, chelsea won barca at stamford bridge, 3-1 as well. but barca had the away goal scored by a certain Luis Figo, and blew chelsea apart at Nou Camp 2-0.....so Inter had better be careful as Lionel Messi comes out to play at his home ground. :whatthe:

Bayern hold a slender lead, but no more ribery......Lyon quite unpredictable, i feel.....

anyway, i prefer a Inter vs Lyon final.... really out of the scripts!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Fulham vs Liverpool final!!!
will be rooting for hogson's charge though...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

hmmm.... 2012 CL final looks like

Liverpool vs Madrid.

SAF retire in 2011 liao, so 2012 the next manager (roy keane?martin o neil?mark hughes?steve bruce?) fumbles under the expectation, and exits at the group stages. :|

Madrid hires Rafa to be manager and he guides them to the final against his former club! :shoot:
and the manager of Liverpool then will be.....Mourinho? :chinese:
