Disgrace! Rubbish!
Tell me abt yr history now Liverpool ! Is not the defeat, is the way
u play!
When I took ippt test on Friday we train on wed too'
KELONG! Walk off alone!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Drogba's post match comment: "Gerrard made a big mistake, I am sure it was not on purpose....".... :blahblah::blahblah:

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

It is sad that an exciting lead-up to the finale has ended in an anti-climax, and it is not because Man Utd lost the iniative which they are to blame but the way the season's conclusion is decided more or less by a half hearted contest at Anfield.

Still got a bit of hope though as mathematically it is still possible for Man Utd to nick it ...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Good goal by Nani... Man U seems hungry and motivated to continue chasing.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

If Liverpool can play like Sunderland!!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

sigh....si bei sad.

what a sad mannaer to end this season at anfield, many hearts are broken tonight.
we didn't play well, and came from the back of an exhaustive defeat mentally and physically at A.Madrid.
how we missed Torres and Alonso.

You'll Never Walk Alone.

jonleeck, what about history do u want to know?
we all can be armchair critics, and its easy to criticize.
but i'm sure by just playing badly for one season, we deserve to be called these names by you.

Liverpool has a rich tradition and colorful history. but tell me, which football club has been winning all the way since it was founded? There will be blips along the way.
By playing badly for one season, does not erase away past glories.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Berba was terrible....

Final weekend decides destination of trophy... Chelsea's to lose.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Liverpool is sure exhausted from Europa League...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

sch boy mistake from gerrard.
i remembered he did that once in an england match too.

no pressure or what so ever. disappointing.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Sad to hear the guests on the review show commenting that Liverpool/Benitez destroys players........

And really, the poll sucks. 75% said they will rather Liverpool loses and not let Man Utd wins the title..... damn pathetic to have a bunch of fans actually expecting own team to lose on home soil........ for a team with such a pedigree to play to lose...... the downfall has started.....

I wasn't surprised that the review show showed that 75% of voters rather Liverpool lose than let Man U overtake them to #19...... *sigh*......

Players did not demostrate that they wanted to win.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

As a neutral (i am neither a Pool nor Man U) fan, I'm totally disgusted with Liverpool the way they gave away the game.

dear dash
I been a united supporter since the 80s.... where bryan robson was our captain marvel...
during these periods.. liverpool were actually beating any teams amost at will...
kenny darlish.....ian rush...to john alridge...ian rush(bk from juv)... peter b/y.. john barnes..to the spices boys to name a few.All these legends play with lots of pride!
These are great history....... 18times champions of england 5 times champion of europe!( look at the badge on the reds jersey) proud history.
the fact i been saying all this is the importants of putting on the jersey!...
Yup, even i (manu u ) yes..we can accept having a bilp season..or 2 or 3....but is the matter of how we want and try..
Rubbish , disgrace..i may sound harsh ... sorry emo high after the match.
But is vs chelsea!! that single match highlighted how i felt! CAN YOU stomach the way liverpool defeat???
How badly did pool try to win?....tired?....come on....... football is a team game. You need more than 11players to win a match and title.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I can understand how real liverpool fans felt! but happy after a defeat??... ( today newpaper page 2)
you can be happy after a defeat like bayern.... @semis or alt madrid.
you wanna play and entertain......in front of the kop...last home match of the season? you dun play to lose...

He did it twice. Once in Euro 2004 against France...passed to Henry which resulted in a penalty which Zidane dispatched and France won 2-1 in the dying minutes.

2nd time was against Arsenal...passed to Henry again..and this time Henry scored.
