robot.. for some reasons.. at time i don't signal while changing lanes.. becasue i realised there are some idiots who will purposely close up the gap when they saw u signalling and die die refuse to let u come in.. can you imagine how upset u can be when u missed an exit becasue of this reason.. so i have learnt to not signal and move out smoothly to save trouble.. but of cos.. tats not right but at times, reality forced us to change... don't u guys face this kind of situation as well?

But I understand what you mean. I occasionally face this problem too. Don't know why, most people will give way to me. Maybe I got stick BMW.SG sticker, they give me respect

Ok, now, serious. My honest opinion here: signal or not, is 2nd in priority. Main priority is to drive safely. I always tell my sister: if it is safe to cut into someone's path, don't signal also nevermind, e.g. the other car is slow and we are fast enough.
But if it is dangerous to cut into a lane, e.g. we are slow and the other car is very fast, signal also no use - it is still dangerous and will cause accident.
So if you drive safe, no signal also nevermind lah.

actually it's about the timing. the floating indicator stalk with the 3 flash signal is very useful.

i usually check make sure got gap, then tap and change lane before the fella behind know what's going on... so seldom kenna people don't give way.

but if kenna people don't give way, i remember long time ago my instructor told me, SLOW DOWN then filter. seems to work better than trying to fight for the spot. (maybe kenna curse by behind driver for that )

Concurred. I think we have similar driving styles. That's how I drive exactly too.
No wonder both of us also look so handsome.

haha.. tat is called cheat.. signal is to tell ppl i am going to change lane.. but nowadays, hard to see courteous drivers, the more you signal, the tougher you can change.. same goes to.. extreme right lane now becomes the slowest lane and extreme left becomes the fastest lane..

Is it near Moulmein exit? I was still thinking, this car very fast, very skilfull female driver, not like the normal slow auntie driver I encounter on the road. I was hoping my wife can drive like that next time.

Eh, I make a conscious effort to continue travelling straight for a split second after signalling hor. I dun signal and turn at the same time. So if their reaction time is good, still can play punk. But mostly the reaction time CMI one lah. LOL.

Anyway, saw a TP rex stopped with hazards (but not blinkers), with 1 guy holding up a handheld cam, opp. Tang Dynasty.

It was 12.30am Mon early morning le, mind you. Wth.. :roll:

They shoot you with the handheld laser gun, then jump into car and chase you with his Rex.

You have 2 options.
1. Once you see the flashing blinkers behind you, you kwai kwai slow down, Rex pulls beside you ask you to pull over and issues you a summon
2. Once you see the flashing blinkers, you kui all the way and exit after a bend, it should take them a while to pick up speed, by then you should be very far ahead liao (Unless the TP's eye very sharp, can see your VRN which is unlikely given the speed you are travelling and the dark environment)
