Ultimate screwed up machine!!

How atrocious and radiculous can it be. Being charged $1 + for a blown fuse when the ride is less than a year old. So newbies or for those who are not aware, once car leave the showroom, not all stuffs are covered under warranty. Even for my case, assuming I collected the car today, tomorow fuse blown, i will be charged $1+ for it, that was what the explanation. Hmm, very interesting, one cup of kopi.

Just be thankful they didn't charge you labour or charge you $10 for the fuse when it's only $0.50-$1.

I remember last time I went to PML and the SA told me "we checked your car undercarriage, A-ok"

I asked how u check, and he said "we jack up and shine torchlight..A-ok"

$20 plus GST

I assumed you are referring to ADs. Not for my case, got my blown fuses and headlight bulbs replaced FOC... drank 2cups of cappuccino and ate 2 swiss rolls... FOC too...

yah actually same, I went to Kg Arang to complain Xenon bulb blow..they changed it and tested the ballast by the way..all free..cos under warranty.. Solid this SA Wee Kim

it depends...we need to hear both sides..

we always hear only the owner's side but never hear PML/AD's side and then we start our rants against PML/ADs or even PIs

You cannot, for example (and just an example only, not saying TS) : change to cheapo aftermarket HIDs and thereby blowing a fuse and expect warranty to cover..

anyway, there's something called discretion.....being that stiff abt a dollar charge, its something the SA could actually do something abt. just like the pre-warranty expiry checks, there are some SA willing to go the extra mile, changing alot of items foc whereas some will brush off problems such as a pending air con coil failure etc.

Then how sia bro?? So now what is covered under warranty and what is not? Cannot suka suka today discretion, repair n replacement all free mah, then tomorow charge a bomb.

but eh, my question would be why did your fuse blow? u modded anything that would potentially overload the electrical system?

warranty wise, i am in no position to answer u that.
why don't you go ask your SA to give u an answer on that.
at least u get more clarity and more mentally prepared in the future.
