If you talk about life in geneva - its a place where you better go get your whatever after work from the supermarket before it closes at 7pm because its swiss standard of living - workers also need a life.
food costs a bomb but housing and cars are cheap. lots of singaporeans there including hawkers who migrated there to sell laksa. met one at his restaurant and he told me he used to sell laksa at serangoon kopi tiam then migrated to open a restaurant there.

Our land is small so inflation is always due to property cost and never labour cost even we reached 10 million population. In fact the more we bring in, the cheaper our labour cost in order to be to stay competitive and employed.
Just look at HK working class, most people 2 jobs and worked late...unless we aspirated to be in rat race, slaves of mortgage loans, car loans.
So buy more Singapore bank stocks
