Where to buy lesser brake dust pad?

Re: Where to buy lesser brake dust pad?

Where can I get the brake pad and disc change other than PML? What is the cost for changing front and rear disc and pad? My brake was 3+ years old and can feel the steeling vibrate during brake. I suspect the rotor warp aleardy and maybe need to change out.

our cars d come with dust shields...at least e60 does...saw it when removing them to fit BBKs..

I dun care if can see my drilled rotors or not. Jin, like i said, these used to, and might still come out on production cars from Ford. The FPV's, GT's etc have them, and they have 6 pot calipers and slotted rotors as standard, so i cant see how it will effect cooling. Especially when some cars have hubcaps now that cober the wheel!!

Re: Where to buy lesser brake dust pad?

Thanks bro, will go down to get the mechanic to check the brake rotor and pad.
the mechanic will resurface your rotor, means he will cut off the top layer to try get rid of the carbonite deposits. However if the damage is too severe, even that will not help. Keep fingers crossed.

Re: Where to buy lesser brake dust pad?

I think the rotor worn out already and maybe the thickness also not enough for skimming since the rotor already 76K km mileage. If can't repair then have to change the rotor I think.

let them decide on the thickness issue.

Re: Where to buy lesser brake dust pad?

I just bear with the brake dust.. the biting power sure outweighs the bit of effor cleaning the rims :) oh i go for simple rims as well which aids cleaning!
