they need to increase power quickly, the New E63 is 0 to 100 in 3.6secs. 4wheel drive monster.

On Sat i was driving my son to chinese school with my wife copper S cab and i thought i saw a white M5 driving into the Bishan junction 8 car park , it look so M5 with the full bodykit and wheels i was admiring it until i saw the red paper clip front and rear brakes. lolzzzz

Pengz shan !!!

These days, BMW seem more interested in churning out ever more models than staying competitive. AWD is definitely the way forward esp with all these crazy power hikes. AWD is beneficial for snowing countries and wet ones like Singapore. The next generation of M cars better come with AWD or be left in the dust!

Re: Which would you rather buy?

Buying a car aka paying the purchase price is one thing.

Maintenance and insurance is another thing not to be ignored when making a purchase decision.

True, which is why I will only consider agent cars cos of free maintenance. Insurance will be steep, but my 50% NCD should help defray some of that.

its really a race between the 458 n the 911 turbo. the 911 will probably lasts 4ever. but gonna be so under the radar vs the 458. i will take the 458 iin silve with CF trims pls. saw one...its so much more awesome vs the red.

the 560-4 is dated. cheap to run etc...but times up really.

Agree with Toto. 911 turbo always get rated down when it comes to driver involvement despite the crazy power and torque. Despite that, I hope to own one some day, but not before the 458 :)

Re: Which would you rather buy?

test drove the 458, it's really the benchmark amongst cars in that cat. smooth gear shifts, superb interior trim and that glorious sound.

toto, you're absolutely right bout the lambo, it's been around since the F360. and yes, the 991 turbo will be more understated in comparison to the flash 458.

both fantastic cars... the mp4-12c also appeals but unfortunately the interior is an acquired taste..

Re: Which would you rather buy?

the 458 is the best daily car. flesh n feel. the mp4 for the best suspension pants down. 911 will be my last sports car....

im still keeping the lambo bcos it still owns the other above...on sepang :)

Re: Which would you rather buy?

Itchy backside today and was browsing around for some 458 porn and stumbled upon the dimension of the 458 Italia. I just found out that the damn thing is actually wider than my F10 M5 at 1937 mm. KNN. I know V12 super cars are big, but a Ferrari V8? Makes me feel silly that I have never even bothered checking up on this aspect of the car. This is really shocking!!!

I would expect most if not all supercars to be relatively wide

Re: Which would you rather buy?

Good choice the 458.

Clocked some high speed runs in the 458 and 2012 GTR.

Dialed in 328kph on GPS in the 458, Stress level - At ease.

GTR clocked 308kph on GPS, Stress Level - 15 out of 10. Took 1.5 lanes to keep this car at speed.

6 runs on the same de-restricted stretch of autobahn.

I reckon this has something to do with the 458 aero.

Re: Which would you rather buy?

Re: Which would you rather buy?

Hahaha, no need to debate, just go with the "flow". Just picked up a pre-owned Prosche 997 gen 2 Turbo. Keeping the M5 still if I need to ferry peeps around.

Congrats. Is it using PDK? How is the PDK gearbox? I hate mine on a Boxster S.
