Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Well, at least some of us here will stand up against them if needed, whether verbal or physical, whichever works better

But sadly there are many here who are just Internet heroes

I think all to blame is our skin colour is the same as one country, I dont want to say which. I read an article in a Travel magazine about the Pros and Cons of Universal Studio Singapore, Pros are the rides bla bla bla, Cons are huge number of people from that country cutting queues, pushing, loud etc etc.

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Yes I agree with XXX....

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

This people in F&B industry better wake up...the big spender are the PRCs and not Ang Moh anymore who are reeling from low employment back home.....You go to casino (MBS) and see who are the high rollers....

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

went there once, was told to wait 45mins for a table. a few mins later angmo couple sauntered in and took a table for 4, which was empty.
so i went to another place, and that place is off my list.

honestly, food is nothing fantastic, alot of similar aussie style brunch places out there. menu's all the same. but the pricing is ridiculous.

priest, i pay $2.50 for my kopitiam set lo.

OK, jokes aside, same thing happened to wife and me at Hyatt Hotel's Mezza9 restaurant one time. We didn't have a reservation, tried to look for a table for 2, told only counter seats available, so I said, we'll wait a while.

But, out of the corner of my eye, I noted an Ang Moh couple sauntering towards the reception. The Filipina FT was almost falling over herself in fawning over them, and I distinctly overheard the Ang Moh guy saying "We don't have a reservation". Of course, they got shown to a table.

I walked BACK to the reception, and at the top of my voice I said: "I thought you said didn't have a table for two? Or did you actually mean you only didn't have a table for two Chinese Singaporeans ?.

My wife and I got our table in double quick time.

But I never renewed my Club @ Hyatt Membership after that.

i salute you, i will stand up for singapore when i encounter this kind of shit next time.
but i rarely go to high class areas and i usually go chinese restaurants so no ang mohs.
singapore under foreign invasion, need to fight to get it back.
the battle will be long and hard but we will prevail.

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Those SPG spoilt it all..Now I go for PRC girls....They bring me to MBS to those special High Rollers table/room....

One thing that I do to ensure fair treatment on SQ is this: soon after take off, request for a feedback form. If one is not available (everything is on line now) request to be made known the feedback URL or tel number.

Then, be fair. If the cabin crew has been attentive, ask for the cabin crew's name in particular and write in good feedback. If the cabin crew has been shit, send shit feedback to SQ.

Let them know in advance you mean business with that feedback form you've requested. Consperm good service until you paiseh to call for cabin crew.

But, to be fair, I also never abuse privilege lah. I don't all them to wipe my ass after pangsai....

Please thank me for this useful tip :)

hi bro,

i think SQ have no choice but to suck ang moh balls, if not how to compete with other ang moh airlines, only got 4 million singaporeans how to sustain business.

you can be sure if you are suddenly stranded in a foreign land, SQ will fly you back home first.

so actually SQ is a victim, they have to swallow their dignity and suck ang moh dicks for the last 30 years.i salute them.

Beg to differ...Ang Mohs also love to cut queue. Taxi stand, airport check in, plane boarding, food court....you name it, they will cut it.

"Excuse me, the queue starts from over there" always works.

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Actually we cannot generalize Ang Moh term....great diversity..some really rich some poorer than us some never even step onto a plane before some never see a sea before..they thought lake is a sea,.....

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Yup....they are just like the rest of the world. Don't need to put them on a pedestal.

Re: Wild Honey Restaurant incident

Yup, they are just like the rest of the world that cannot stand the PRC behaviours. Too bad we have the same colour, kanna friendly fire. LOL
