After going down CNL to re-install for my film for the 3rd time and still my front windscreen is still have some wavy strokes, it is visible from naked eye.... :furious:
my vkool solar film has this effect too. but more pronounced on the side windows. I have used CnL before and their wavy/streaky effect isn't as bad as Vkool. In my experience, CnL will redo the job as many times as it takes, if you find any problems.

Question to all Bros!!
CNL quoted that there will be uneveness bubbles at edge surrounding the entire rear windscreen area because of the Dot Matrix on your E90 screen. Is it true?
CnL also warned me that the edges may start to "unstick" from the glass on the dot matrix part. But so far it has remained OK. Cos that section is so small, i think it won't be a problem. Just get them to even it out again if it does loosen off. Anyway, since they go and cut the film to extend to that part, it should be their responsibility to fix.

Do you experience similar uneveness bubbles at around the rear windscreen due to Dot Matrix and the demister line with other brands Solar films?
i have no bubbles on my CnL film, but when the light hits the demister line, there is a weird effect. I just left it and got used to it. My Vkool film however, has dust bubble trapped in the rear windscreen section. The VKool shop at Sin Ming is not as good as CnL Toh Guan facility in terms of being dust free, and CnL Toh Guan takes better care to keep your car clean too.
Sometimes, seems like it's really your luck on who works on your car that particiular day. Some have had good results with CnL, some with VKool. For me, my CnL experience was much better than VKool. Maybe you can try going for the VKool outlets that are linked to PML. Better yet, go check out 3M. Haven't heard anything bad about them (yet). Good luck
