Worth buying new F10 523 from PI?

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI?

Infact, now for the E90 318i/320i that they are selling to current e90 owners (Clearing stocks) with overtrades (EDIT: And trade-in), more than half of the final price is actually the COE itself! :yikess:

What is the price for 318i and 320i?

Thought after overtrade ... it is 149K for 318i and 170K for 320i.

COE say 60K...

how to be more than 50%?

psps, i forgot including trade-in :oooops:

Then it's $90k (320i) for existing bmw e90 owners.

But that offer was about a few weeks ago.......

EDIT: And the car we traded in was a 4 year old 320i with 80k km mileage with some scratches and bumps on it (Cuz im still a kid with 6 months triangle plate =X )

318/320 bread and butter car profit margin is 20k-25k regardless coe is 10k or 50k
you can trace the price back all the way to coe at 5k on their overtrade and selling price

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI?

let's take 320i

omv 39K....

Coe 57K

cost = 39 x2.33 + 57 = 148K

at 170k (after all overtrades).... profit is only 22K

318i - retail price is 180K....overtrade abt 31K... net selling is 149K.

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI?

PML smart. F30 coming, they still can make e90 owners change to e90.
Later I also must go look see my dream car. E90 335.

Haha, but including trade-in too, PML seem to be losing money than profit lei. :ehhh:

Cuz OMV for 320i now is $38k + $56300 COE = $94 300. And they selling us at +/- $90k :errr:

Correct me if im wrong. Thanks! :)

Haha, the salesman told my parents that got new F30 coming out next year, so they clearing stocks.

And he said that because it's final batches, most of the problems should have been sorted out and got loads of features and equipment inside. And when the F30 come out, it will be more expensive and it will be bone basic as well (Like the F10 523i). By then, the car will depreciate even further cuz it will be 5 years and the overtrade won't be so high.

But sad lah, that time the offer only for 320i and 318i. WE WANTED THE 325i!!! :furious::furious::furious:

I think we gone abit OT. Sorry. :oooops:

Dunno. haha. Abit blur from my studies now. Erm....

$202 000 - $115 000 (from trade-in of our old e90) = $87k?

And original price we bought our 2007 320i was $125000.

oic.... the overtrade was 31K thereabt.

115-31 = 84K effective trade in value.

based on your purchase price .... 125 -84K = 41K over 4 years seems very reasonable i.e. what dealers are selling for 2007 model... 10K dep per annum.

Based you depn on the new car .... is about 18K per annum straight line...!!!!

If you go for existing stock, there is another $5K discount but you will miss out on the additional items which i have outlined earlier but even those stock are all gone...

If you get ard $20K+ overtrade value plus the original $3K discount plus the $5K discount on existing stock, all in all the total discount value might hit $30K+...

You will get very special overtrade value if you are existing E60 owner... :yikess:

How would you figure out the overtrade amount? Based on PPSL's valuation of your car or based on average price from SGcarmart for equivalent? I was offered an all in figure for trade in.

Hi Bro, it's a mix between PPSL & average price from SGcarmart but still subject to the car model, they cant offer much for slow moving model... some of my friends got very low offers...

You just minus off the offered price against the market value to attain the overtrade value.... actually it is all depend on u... u valued ur car more, u get less overtrade... if u wan to gain more psychology, u valued lower lor...

Cheers!

Re: Worth buying new F10 523 from PI?

Hi all, kinda new here, recently i went around PI and PML to check out the pricing and i find that most PI do not have the 10" iDrive installed with sat nav, mostly 7" only.

Kinda turn off to me though, however given the price PML offer to me which is about S$240k, i could get a 535i via PI route.. heh
