Anyone knows the details of the latest offer for 523? A friend of mine received sms from PML saying, free 3 years servicing+roadtax, registration needs to be done before 16th, but without any pricing info.

Nett about 20+k(with overtrade) off list price ... the 3yrs free service and road tax can be converted to cash to offset the price...i think its about 7k ~ 9k .. my family just booked one..will try to get the sales and purchase agreement to confirm the figures.... space grey ex stock...

When is the N20 4 cylinder turbo engine coming out for the 5 series? I read it will be out in the fall in USA but nothing for rest of the world. For 240 hp at 5000 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque from 1250 rpm, I may just wait a little longer....

N20 I4 turbo 245hp = 2012 528i

N20 I4 turbo 184hp = 2012 520i

523i should be the last of NA I6 engine.

Can, just rebadge the "0" to "8". I did it before. Car became damn fast

I wonder if the 2012 528i N20 I4 turbo will be same price as current 523.... if so... I would think worth the wait. Then again... V6 smoothness will not be there. Haha... can have one but not the other.

current 523 is IL6 (straight 6) and not V6

I wonder if the 2012 528i N20 I4 turbo will be same price as current 523.... if so... I would think worth the wait. Then again... V6 smoothness will not be there. Haha... can have one but not the other.

The question is will PML even bring them in?

Most likely sg market... 520i only.

pml will ask germany to make 518i for uniquely spore to repeat the success of 318i
