You may want to start off with this info - the offsets are dependent on the tire profile you want.

A front 8.5" wid rim with an offset of ET35 is the max I tried before the tires would rub the inner wheel...
Not normal if you are just doing regular travelling on the expressway.
120c - normal if you are clearing carbon on the expressway for 30 minutes.

Whenever that message come up - there will always be a code. It could be a shadow code.
Not sure why mechs think that clearing the fault logs would make things better. I give my mechs an earful when they do that because it makes my life harder in diagnostics.
Anyway - as a last resort -...
Stay with the original ZF 8hp fluids (in your case).
The 8hp45 is an ultra low viscosity fluid gearbox - very sensitive to temperature as per the change procedure.
Do not reset the adaptations unless there is a hardware change (the pan does not count).
Actually it has been the reverse - we have been dropping the Alpina stock maps into non-Alpinas.
Anyway - for the Alpina B3 ... we have tunes for it ...
