Re: Vibration caused by low rpm idle..Engine seem choked... The engine mounting for both sides - $140. I did some other stuff as well, so the labour for the engine mounting portion I estimate about $50-60. Total about 200 bucks plus minus... :)

Problem solved. Appearantly one of the rear discs which they replaced was warped!! The workshop said not sure how that is possible, as it's brand new. Anyway they replaced with another set and the problem went away :)

I just had all 4 rotors and pads replaced on my E46 and I noticed there is some juddering when I apply the brakes. Can someone tell me if this is normal? I was told by the workshop that this is due to the pads and rotors being new and will take sometime to bed. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me if it is normal to change rotors about every 50000km? My car is about 60000km now, I'm still on the first set of rotors and I was told to change all 4 rotors and pads... :| Thanks

Why would you need the performance of a T5 or Legacy GT?? Nowadays, the TPs are EVERYWHERE... yes, I mean EVERYWHERE, day and night. :verysad: Really meaningless to choose a car because of better performance in Singapore, you'll be better off with a car which has better handling, comfort...

That's a good idea. But having sat in my friends 318Valve i really don't hear the same sound. btw, just one other question... which i hope i can get some help.... When driving in Manual mode when the car comes to a complete stop, does the gear automatically shifts down to gear 1? Mine...

Have done the software upgrade... but didn't seems to help much... the sound is still there when gear shifting down from 3rd to 2nd :( Any other ideas? Btw, is there a way to check if the upgrade was done at all? Can't tell any difference drive-wise.

FB, You can always try.. 8) Was told by the SA the damage was about S$120 for this upgrade, if no warranty. Have not decide on the HU change yet.. will defintely let you know. Btw, the trims looks great, thanks :) Cheers.

Can your rims be fitted on a E46? Anyway, I wouldn't be able to take your P7s as the width of the tyres would be different.

I just got a 2 year plus 318valve and i noticed it's tough to get 10l/100km if there is more than 50% city type driving during peak hours, the figures are more like 11-12l/100km even when i drive gently. Compare to my old 156 2.0TS Selespeed which is constantly between 10-11l/100km even under...
