Re: Noisy 520i engine Your 520i produce 170hp not 156hp. Btw, you car is has a 2.2 in-line six engine. Its engine has similar characteristic as the 530i, and should not be making loud noises. I suggest go to your local workshop and has it inspected.

Re: Exhaust for my 650ci Removing the center resonator will slightly increase the exhaust sound. The soundclip on my previous post consist of the straight pipe from header-back with the E-race. If louder exhaust sound is what you need, you should bypass the front resonator.

Re: Decision: K&N or GruppeM GruppeM is a cold air intake system that utilize K&N filters.:) If you want to replace your stock air filters, I suggest BMC filters, great performance and still maintain good filteration properties.

Re: Exhaust for my 650ci Before i sold my car, I've swapped my Eisenmann Race for Supersprint Race(M6 version) on my 645ci. I can say that the supersprint sounds much better on the 645ci compare to the eisenmann. It has a much deeper and throatier sound, thats better suited for the V8.

Re: Exhaust for my 650ci Yes, installed the E-race mufflers on my 645ci, and it sound a little raspier than stock but no much louder in terms of sound volume. It will sound much louder & throatier if you remove the front and center resonators. Here's a video clip of my exhaust setup...

Re: Emission fault code by-pass kit. you probably get "increase emission warning" it got nothing to do with your sensors...its just that your exhaust emission is reading probably higher CO, Co2 level that triggers the warning light to appear. I've not heard of any kit fault code bypass kit in...

Re: Opinion on E63 I don't think it'll look odd, but you might want to consider that the quad system for the 645ci has shorter tips and tends to position closer to the edges of the bumper compare to the M6 version

Re: aftermarket headers for RHD 645ci Checked with BMW workshop, and confirmed that engine removal/lifting is not required...it is bolt on installation, but require 1 full day to install. Yup! the Hamann header cost at nasty price of $2,900 euros. Still seeking for cheaper alternatives, FYI...
