I personally prefer warm colour photography compare with cool like those Kenn took for his car at One Degree 15. I felt warm tones work best to bring out dark colors car. e.g. gold or liquor adverts normal choose to compose their product against dark color tone background. Those are something I had learned during my college days. As for 'depth of field' shoot on such big object like car, is very hard to get it compose. I did try some DOF composite, but it didn't turn out well enough. still learning to used to the camera to its full potential. do you do photography too? attached is a shot I tried. can't get any interesting reflection on that mirror.
Yep, I was telling Terry of the different styles. I hardly have trees and animated objects in my background, except for first few shots. I prefer steel cold, melancholistic, symmetrical shots on a silver or grey car. Red or yellow cars can take animated shots, white is easiest, and black - challenging.

Attached is one my best composite using the new camera. no cropping, no rotating, no alignment. just some reproduction touch up to cover some of the stone chip mark on the bonnet.

photos were taken with DSLR D80 mounted with Nikon AF Nikkor 28-70mm 1:3.5-3.5 D lenses then edited using Adobe Photoshop CS2

Totally agreed. White on Snow superb. Saw that at E90post.com. I may want to try black n white. those highly contrast one. Maybe the noon sunlight is best for B&W shooting. let me experience and see how it goes from there.

Talk to Kelvin of Leong Seng the other day about the ME and RMP, both are about the same price. ME cost $60 more. I have decided to use the current wheel with 12 mm spacers, just managed to clear the rear fenders. PSS9, H & R sway bars and Alutec strut were installed today. This will be the step 1 of my mod.

thanks Louis. will do that when I had more quality time. removing that reflection is very time consuming. I'm glad you like it too.

is ok to had more than a pair of shoes if you afford for it, that will be easier I guess. I truly understood how you feel when deciding on rims design. I've been through it. Its headache. Just goes with your heart, normally it won't go that wrong. happy choosing.

Hi Lyneous, no lah, I can only do it as and when I have time. no mod's diary for me! Btw, I remembered you mentioned your PSS9 took about 5 hrs to installed, don't know why mine took almost 9 hrs to finish the job with only additinal sways and strut bar.

Hi Steven, sway bar installation can't be consider same as installing coilover, for rear swaybar to come off the whole back sub frame needs to be drop in order for the mechanic to access it and replaced it. if doing coilover alone, you don't need to. that an additional task on top of the coilover installation process. that's why installing coilover+swaybar, didn't actual safe much of the labor cost. Can PMed me the break down cost on your mods you did yesterday. Thanks.

Not exactly agreeable. If you install coilovers on Day 1, and return to install ARB on Day 2, you would need to remove the entire control arm. So it makes more sense to do it together. And most people install coilovers first, not the other way....... So it still make sense to do them together.......

Re: ACU's E90 San Er Ling i (Photoshoot & MODS Diary)

since the arm is where your springs sit so they will be affected when installing the ARB.

In E46 models, it's independent...ARB can be installed in half hour...
