Oil filter also can bring huh? I ask before SA if bring own oil can he tell me can but if engine got problem later warranty nt cover? Feels like he is talking rubbish. If I bring shell helix ultra which they using currently will they say also not covered by warranty..

5W40, will make the car feel sluggish?

Personally, after trying 5w-40 and 0w-30. Difference is a a lot! The latter makes the car so much lighter n I dare say fuel consumption also better by around 5%! Thats from my last 600km.

Is depends on individual and the way you drive. Normally, 10K oil change. Some people like change at every 5K (like me), 7K.... If you're happy, 2K oil change also can.

Oh i think u got me wrong...

wat I mean is till how many km can we use O-30W coz it's meant for new car engine right? Not interval servicing...

Oh haha.. Normally should be till 50-60K... Maybe other bros can correct me if I'm wrong...

Going for my 10k servicing. Which. Better? O-30, O-40, 5-30 or O-40 will be better for f10 520? Also pple recommend castrol and mobil gold, which I gd? I running on essomobil petrol. Tks...

if u change regularly like every 5k km, then no need to use very expensive designer engine oil

if u change zhoon zhoon at 10k km or 12k km, then use expensive designer brand engine oil and watever additives you can find in the market

if u dun change or forgot whether in your life u ever changed engine oil, please remember to put "Well taken care of by fussy owner" when you sell, then we knw u never change oil

When coming to a stop, does your rear brakes have any noise?

Mine is making a low pitch "gom gom" sound when coming to a complete stop since day 1. Thought it might need time to bed in, but 1700km liao still as noisy. Kind of like the sound that brakes will make if the brakes are wet and cold, like the very "siamp" brake.

- Can anyone tell me what the standard equipment for the 528 contains in Singapore from PML? ie does it contain dynamic dampers, reverse cam, auto tailgate, etc. Just wanted to make sure my sales person isnt misleading me on the car's kit (granted since 20k has already been taken off the sticker price, i'm going to take it up the arse and suck up what she told me anyways so i suppose its just out of curiousity)

The 528 from pml contains reverse camera, dynamic dampers, auto tailgate, comfort access, parking aids, soft close doors(rear two doors only), electronic sun shade at the back, sun shade for the two rear passenger windows. I think thats about it

Think dynamic damper is option for most f10, including 528i. Drive mode only affects steering and gearbox.
