Aircon filter very dirty!

This is what my aircon microfilter looks like. And this is for a 14 months' car with 18,000km mileage.
(Sorry I forgot to take a photo of a new one, otherwise it will be a good comparison.)

It's damn dirty. Maybe because of my driving pattern which is 80% city 20% highway.

So if you have kids or old people taking our car often, you may want to consider changing it annually. Price for BMW original filter is $70 from Eng Soon, for OEM it is $30 (for E90 and E87). For E46 I remember it is around $56. But worth it for the cleaner air.

Btw I borrow tool kit from my neighbour and showed him the dirty filter when returning the kit to him. He asked me: can wash?

Because my lungs all black liao, hopeless already, so no need to change airconfilter

Btw, is the $250 done at PML? One of the bro told me it's only for $140 for change of filter at PML....

Black only mah, still got help, unless u say charcoal black.

Its not PML, no good to mention name, but to be fair, price include resetting of service reminder (which costs $80 alone)

PML says my aircon microfilter due for change today, which is at 2nd oil servicing at 18,000km. Heng I change myself last week. Because PML charge is expensive.

Bro, I heard they charge $140 or $170, can't remember which one. But is either one. I pay $70+GST, at Eng Soon, plus chocolate milk at $1.50 because weather very hot I need to drink water when changing. But hoh, even though I'm robot I can't reset my OBC for the microfilter change. PML can do that, write in service booklet and chop, provide sofa and free coffee, etc. I cheapo, DIY lol

all change filter on same day. finish liao, throw dirty filter and empty kopi cups into brobot's trunk for disposal
