Thanks bro Solidgold. Basic Panamera going for $280K b4 COE - add in all the 'expected' accoutrements (eg. comfort seats, GPS - which doesn't even work in Malaysia), it'll cost a lot closer to $400K. And it's got 4 doors...

Basic 640i already has a lot of standard specifications - HUD, Adaptive LED headlights, GPS, reverse camera etc - and all this for base price of $355,800 with COE - I think it's still a lot cheaper than bare bones Panamera.

Besides, I not big Porker fan-boy. Right now, going thru the "Everything about BMW is fantastic" phase in my life ... who knows, when I can actually afford a decent Porker, my impressions may change? Hehehe.
