can share how much to upgraded to 18" rims and tires? I'm also considering but so many things to do...sigh.

So far i ask, is about 400+ without tires.

hmm, Nappa is finer-gain leather. is smooth and soft.
Dakota is hard leather, not so smooth and soft. HAHA

Cannot compare. is own preference.

For me i will go for Dakota leather, cos i got Dogs to ferry.

Juz to share, I got VMR V710 at $400 each wif hurry tyres... Other place $430. My trade in is $1000 full set.

Ok 116er, just to share the details I gathered for upholstery

Workshop: Tuffi IMD
What: Full Leather upholstery
Area: Front & rear seats, door panel and center console (Steering wheel and hand brake on separate quote)
Colour: Black Napa leather (can opt for colour stitching and small logo embroidery e.g /// logo possible)
Cost: Approx 1.2k (to be confirmed again)
Downtime: 5-7 days (due to no template, so whoever have a second car to spare, please make the sacrifice)

My current VW was done with them and their workmanship cannot complain lah. Others I checked quoted me 1.8k and above for normal leather

I"m still negotiating for an even better pricing for a group of 3 or more. May be good to see who's is interested, please list your name below

Hurry tyres is a shop at Bukit Timah Road... Order thru him, but got to wait for shipment, abt 2 weeks...

Agreed. Napa may not withstand the test of time and need lots of maintenance and care but it's comfortable. Beside Dakota, there is also exclusive leather for VW which is cheaper.

Agreed. Napa may not within the test of time and need lots of maintenance and care but it's comfortable. Beside Dakota, there is also exclusive leather for VW which is cheaper.

I go for 18inch 8x8.5j offset 45 front n rear. So I can rotate... According to the boss, nt much diff...

The price I got from Tuffi is for full leather therefore it's infact alot cheaper than other shops I asked. I'm pretty sure we can get it below 1k for normal leather and of course alot of haggling

Coloured Stitching: $50
Logo: $30 (with existing template)
Logo: $120 (customised logo)

All prices are before GST.

Looking better now but I'm still squeezing for better bundled/GB pricing.
