Eat somewhere else if you don't like the service, especially when laksa's standards are almost identical, if not overtly differentiating...... competition can only be good for consumers in the long run......

Yup. When I want Hokkien mee, I can't satisfy it with just fried prawn noodle.

In my estate there is a very very popular hokkien mee stall. They are overwhelmed during peak hours and wait time can be 30 mins. But guess what? They take care of their customers, never once is the service bad, grouchy face, and if the wait is long, they show you the queue list, give you an (accurate!) estimation of how long you need to wait, and if for any reason (rare) that your order is missed, they serve the next one to you immediately and apologize. Super regular customers? Call the cellphone and order ahead of time, and stroll in to collect :)

Who wants to line up 30 mins for hokkien mee? Nah.

But if their attitude is really good, service is good and they don't make you feel like a mass consumer - yeah, I'll wait and do it to support them.

Wait - am I comparing BMW vs hokkien mee? Not so sad lah. Too much coffee this morning.

Yup. I would buy PI. And isn't crazy that we're WANTING to buy PI because we can get better service? LOL.

Again, I have zero PML servicing experience, but I HAVE tried waiting about 20 - 30mins at the service counter for someone to attend to me, and all they could say is that "sorry, all SAs are busy now, you have to wait behind these 5 customers, or come back again". I have attempted this two times and sorry lah, why should should I subject myself to this.

There are other incidences that I have gone to them for retrieval of vehicle history etc, Spent 30 mins being bounced from person to person who did not want to take ownership of the customer request... I caught one at the end, and because I think she's more senior she could not refer me anywhere else. I wrote down my request and details on a nice paper to leave with her in case she forget, I leave my details on the paper, and even gave her my namecard.

No response for 2 weeks. I call, and no one can locate her, and when I spoke again to those who attended to me on that day, all pretend to forget who I am.

I don't have high expectations nor am I trying my luck to negotiate for any freebie. I am just there to try to do this because I thought they would take care of customers if its supposed to be a premium luxury brand representation. But instead I walked into something very different from the impression casted by their marketing materials, outlook of the place etc.

And I forgot to mention about the hokkien mee - if their product is good, service is good and attitude is sincere, even if you ask me to pay a big premium for it I would gladly do so. Anything less in terms of products and service and trying to charge a large premium for it, you are just mocking your customers and taking them for a ride while the sun shines just to see how much money you can make while you can do it and nothing else.

There is more meaning to a premium product than that.

On the topic of poor service, I OT abit but somehow related. Pricing is so high despite much lower OMVs, I used to be die hard AD kinda guy, so if Im getting my next car, most prob it be a PI especially if its a bmw.

Cos we know who to go to for fixes, etc. So I have no issues on aftersales support. Save alot more money, etc. Book a service date need to wait for 2 weeks, go there need to wait for number to be called which is approx. 45mins to an hour before I can finally see the SA. Then have to wait for whole day for a simple oil change......

waste of time. End of day, not only PML but the whole automotive industry ADs have this issue. Long waiting times......

The most frustration is tat after hours or days of waitg , collect car n discover error they hav done..... KNS....:mad:

Never had this type of issues at TransEurokars, Stuttgart or Wearnes ........ they even entertained my kids while I wait.

Thats because they didn't put as many as 3-s and 5-s on the road :thumbsup:....... PML just like one of our neighboring countries, keep building the tallest and mightiest building in the city center without considering the infrastructure to support the traffics.....ended up traffic jam along jalan sultan ismail round the clock....:shock:

Relative of mine brought his car in to PML recently for transmission problems. 1 week later they still could not solve the problem. He got pissed off and asked what was he supposed to do if even the AD cannot solve the problem? Guess what the reply was? Go to J4C...lol..

Wow...they actually refer customer to pro shop. So that means even though your car is still under warranty, you won't be enjoying it at all. Think I better establish relationship with pro shops before my warranty runs out in 2 years time.
