My car has had the similar issues too. Although not exactly the same...

1) Two times, when trying to accelerate from stop, RPM suddenly went up and down. Like engine is going to die off. Switch engine off and on again, problem solved. No CEL...

2) Only once, just two days ago. When i was trying to accelerate from a stop, RPM up and down again. But this time, engine die off.
Yes! I was hoping to see if there was any CEL. Unfortunately no.... Started back the engine and everything has been fine till now...

3) Ongoing problem (around 2 times per day). Whenever I accelerate from a stop or from low speed, the car will suddenly loss power until i floor it hard or feather it, then the power will return.

Based on pengful and your threads, I think most likely ignition coils, spark plugs and valvetronic up the lorry liao.
Will probably get the workshop to change all these items.

Car only 3.5 year old but already 100K. Already done engine overhaul to solve the oil missing problem.
Now just waiting for GB to up lorry also. Can feel some jerks when doing hard acceleration liao. Sibei sian.

Then it could be ignition coil. Try to ask workshop to change some used ones if they cant find the fault, since there is no error code.

I changed the ignition coils and sparks at one go, no fault, just part of my 100k km wear and tear program..

Hopefully just simple ignition coil issue...

Bro, mine was found spark plug worn off, maybe u can try to replace 1st...

Third problem may have to do with gearbox issues.......

after i replaced the ignition coils and spark pugs, here is the problem ... unstable rpm

in 'P' mode (parking) idling rpm swee swee 750rpm ... steady

in 'D' mode (step on brake, waiting at traffic light), rpm cannot stay steady at 750rpm ... often +-50 (one marker up/down).
engine did not tremble or rock heavily but can feel a feedback on brake and steering ... tiny bit shake

simi taiji? installation problem?

Replaced coils and plugs, problem no. 3 seems to be gone. Acceleration is also smoother now. Still monitor problem 1 and 2.

RPM is stable so far. Has your car done any remap before?

I was hoping it is the valvetronic though since it is already 100k.

Maybe misfiring ....... go scan for errors.

valvetronic motor problem,i changed it 5 months ago,really no power when accelerate the pedal but lucky still can drive to workshop.

After replacing the ignition coils and spark plugs, no more idling rpm problem. Acceleration also better and more responsive. But still feel that sometimes there is some delay in the acceleration.

Error codes shows valvetronic limit exceeded..

How about when the fan is only at high speed during traffic jam?

Hi.. so if this happens, means cooling system sth wrong?
I face this so often going home time (traffic jam) and whenever I go PML, they say normal. can i swear here?
When it happens I put the gear to Neutral, scared it overheat and yada yada god knows whut..next.

My cabin sometimes get heated up. Is this also cooling system problem?
Ive got 20 more days to free warranty and I want to get it fix (free if can) the soonest!

go pml do the "b4 warranty expired" check --> has to pay $80 (i think)
highlight seriously there is problem with the water pump or radiator
see if they can detect the problem and replace under warranty (pray)
else there will tell you everything is normal --> wasted $80
but once warranty is over ... bamm ... they will they will xxx parts up lorry and need to be changed
