Huh...you meant you installed kellener sport modules and caused this major problem?!?!?! I had installed one on my F10 535.... If that's the caused of the problem... Then I better take it out.... Do let me know. Thks

Just to share that I've got the same problem on the misfiring with my 1.1yr old PI F10 520 with warranty from J4C.

Wow. This means a LOT of BMWs will be affected because they use the same exact engine. From 1 series to 5 series, X1, X3s and Z4!

Wow. This means a LOT of BMWs will be affected because they use the same exact engine. From 1 series to 5 series, X1, X3s and Z4!

Yeah, different blocks, N54/EJ25 versus N20. Car sold but heng, the knowledge can still be rendered helpful.

Assuming STOCK engines, without any piggybacking...... the probable causes are:

~ spark plugs/ignition coils - your workshop should have swapped ignition coils to check if the misfiring problem has been "transferred" to another cylinder. If yes, then it is the ignition coil. Else, given the loss in boost/pressure, it could be:

~ Injectors
~ HPFP/LPFP
~ intake valves
~ vanos solenoid

These assume stock. If chipped, remove chip and test again.

All with N20 engine should gather for a class action against BMW.

Another alternative for MW is - Owen K04/K03 for 2L and below application - also sibeh tak kong.
You can try it on your 555
Ops, what cc is your 555 engine ? Cannot find the details even though i googled for it
