Guys, I had the gearbox overhauled last year and everything was nice and dandy until I took a drive to KL last week.
While the jerking no longer bothered me, something else did. When the car went above 130 km/h for about 15 mins, the same dreaded red gear warning light came on. I had to stop the car, restart and continue on my journey below 120 km/h.
In SIN, most of us will not drive above 120 km/h so we may not know about this problem. Of course, you may or may not have this problem. If there is a chance, take your car to the NS highway and push it. See if this gear warning shows up.
I am going to take it back to my workshop and claim warranty for this "defect".
