As illustrated by jasonmaxiser , sorry I mean jasonmaxima , US and UK give different qty required in quart.
If you are to convert them back to litre against US qrt and UK qrt then both should be the same.
BTW, doesn't your manual stated the qty required ?

Seriously.
This is the most rudimentary way to do it. Buy 6 bottle of 1 quart.
Get workshop to drain it out completely and measures the oil level. The closest to your finding is your answer lor.
p.s. rather than posting a very generic question, it would be a great idea to include your findings in your 1st post.

Engine oil is moving in a close circuit w/o ventilation. When it is pour to brim, the xtra oil got no where to go. The pressure could cause some serious problem.

I don't see any fuss. It's a simple question asking for advice from others who have done a change with their own brought oil.
Yeah I have bought more but would rather not keep do many spare bottles. What's the fuss in asking?

Thanks. I put a simple post. I didn't realize questions had to be substantiated with evidence that I had searched online so that some will deem fit to reply.
I was looking for a very simple answer from people with experience. Instead, a whole bunch of replies from people who don't even have the model or have seen the newer handbooks want to give their opinion
I appreciate the effort, but I wanted actual useful feedback from owners. Which is very limited in this growing thread, and this forum in general.
Ill make it a point to stick to the US forums in future.

Thanks a lot for that. Yeah, I realize the conversion factor to keep in mind with the Us import bottles.
I may go with five quarts if its within spec and hold off cracking a sixth quart open. I don't like keeping half used bottles for later use cos of moisture.
