Re: Ignition Upgrades

yeah heard from ken that it's gooood. will be down this coming weekend to change mine. hahaha

Re: Ignition Upgrades

Guys, forget the coil booster. You are still running the stock wires of a massive 3mm thickness, how to accept more current? You put massive wires for your stereo fitout, yet leave your stock wires and add a coil booster? No outcome.
You suck thickshake through regular straw, dam hard, you suck thickshake through Mcdonalds straw, more flow.

The UM2 mod works better, i guarentee.

Im going for the torco engine, auto trans, and diff oil change next. i LOVE UM2, these guys are DA BOMB and this is proper performance modding.

BTW, my car just keeps getting better and better, this is how a 2 litre should be. Im very pleased. Almost ran up the arse of a few people on the weekend, off the line dam good. Now im worried my neck get wiplash and i break my seat.

Re: Ignition Upgrades

Re: Ignition Upgrades

We just had another satisfied customer last night.....

muahahahaha.....
Hmmm..the 1st statement can sound funny if your mind is in the gutter right?

Anyway, i am bad.....
The poison man.....cheap poison man......

Would the kind gentleman post a FR on the experience?

Who is next?

Re: Ignition Upgrades

errr, i really dont want to know the gentlemans experience of you satisfying him last night. Can he just post about his car instead?

Re: Ignition Upgrades

the happy guy, incidentally, happens to be me...

installed it just before i left for jakarta.

after the installation and upgrade, drove a few rounds around the block. immediately felt a slight difference in low end torque. thought that mebbe it was just self-justification for the money that i had just spent.

went to fetch my mum out for dinner. but it was after dinner that the magic began...

after dropping off my mum at clementi, drove up the AYE to tuas. acceleration seemed to improve and the car seemed much lighter. gearchange seemed to be much faster too.

wasn't sure so i u-turned and drove like a madman all the way back. would've lost my license on-the-spot if there was a TP around. acceleration was effortless, to say the least. was getting a speed rush. luckily very few cars around at that time.

wifey left the same time after dropping off my mum and she wondered why i took such a long time to get home. didn't tell her i went to chiong AYE.

immediately sent SMS to rodney - "see buay steam ah!"

only advice to phil - the speed and performance is addictive, go get yourself bigger brakes immediately.

Re: Ignition Upgrades

It's the best $220 I have ever spent!

Re: Ignition Upgrades

Hi Jin,

Very glad that you enjoyed your car... I am very sure that your fuel consumption is going down the tubes now that you are driving like a madman.. Ha Hah...

This is what a proper ignition system should feel like.

Ha ha...

Re: Ignition Upgrades

i think phil is lusting for afterburners and a HUD :)

the kind he saw at the recent Singapore Aerospace :lol2:

some ejector seats will be nice too :lol2:

Re: Ignition Upgrades

i think phil will need nitrous oxide next. hahaha he needs the sudden burst of power and energy. hahaha

Re: Ignition Upgrades

Sorry for the late post.
Had mine done up by Rodney on Saturday...
and the car feel damn good. As mentioned, MONEY WELL SPENT.
IMO...you can run around modding with cosmetics but this is really good stuff...too good to ignore. Its the pampering of the engines that supercede everthing else.
RODNEY...you have just gained another believer. Good work ! :)

Re: Ignition Upgrades

Eh so its $220 right? No more offer price ah...
