Hi terry,
1stly, it's important to use the right type of microfiber in the future to buff off wax. Use a "short" pile microfiber instead of a fluffy long pile (Quick detailing/drying) microfiber. If your microfiber has 2 sides, a fluffy side and a smother side, use the smother side, but make sure affected area and microfiber are both absolutely clean i.e. no trap dirt etc..
yah, i would try using a QD first to get it off... cos it's the easiest option, and the wax you're using is expensive!!
if that fails, then (on a clean car), pour distilled water (you can get this at NTUC) on a CLEAN microfiber to wet it, spray some QD to add lubricity, and try buffing it off wet.
if that fails, then yah, the cleaner fluid would remove the wax.
hope that helps... apologies if i was pedantic.
ps. paul dalton stopped using zymol cos swisswax were smart enough to offer him his own signature wax (non-refillable too, unlike zymol destiny)... so he probably gets a cut of the sales... the choice of wax is a personal thing/matter of an individual's preference really and i think both zymol and swisswax are definitely comparable. Most normal people cannot tell the difference between the concourso and concours.
