bro,
heres my experience with my sprint booster (the throttle device)i m driving a e60.

i had it fitted before cny too.enjoyed it throughly in sg road. very fast jerky feeling on flooring but after 4 tanks of petrol i felt it was not as good as when it was first installed.the initial launch was not there ie that jerking feeling.

i thought it was the mac mini ,the tv tuner, video interface i installed affected the device ie voltage dependant.so i told the great white..why ah?what happened, how come not working???

did the ecu re adapt .i tried the reset ecu procedure ..position 2 10sec then off 10secs start engine ..still doesnt feel fast leh.

so i took out the device ,very easily removed.drove my car.my heart sank no more joy.dam sluggish.put it back in again and i realised all the while it was working

........just that my butt feeling and foot pedal force have gotten and adapted to the way how i drive with the device he he he ..ie its the agility of your foot work which after a while you will learn..no more jerks or did the ecu really readapted for first and second gear?


by the way 523i is dam sluggish i cant drive wihout the device now.might order a 2nd one as back up ha ha.

Just went to get the device fixed in my E39.

Shiok is an understatement. It should be shiok to the power of 10.

Originally thinking of changing my car but after fixing the thingy.... hmm.... will keep it for a while more.

Hi Guys,

Installed mine around 10am today at BVO liao, and thought of sharing my initial experience.

Wanted to change the sparks to volker as well but no time cos I sneaked out from the office and got called back..,

Anyway, drove back the car after the quick installation (less than 15min). Was pleasantly surprise that such a small little tool could do such a BIG difference in the engine response!

Mine is a 5mth old e60 523. With the device, a little tap on the accelerator really makes the car dash forward!

Will monitor the fuel consumption and report back!

Went to install the device.... my god that is a little monster!!! I tht I m driving M3 hehe very good response more than what i expected
