ok, this is what i gather when I spoke to someone in PML yesterday ...
BMW current promo - something like free 3 years road tax (value 6k), free servicing 3 years (value 6k) ... and extra overtrade value depending on car type
varies from 6k-12k or more ..........
If you forego ALL of the above, you can offset it against the current list price of BMW (as of Sept) ....so that works out to approx less 18k-24k discounts
base price of 535 (non Msport) I believe is sgd319k currently ....
For current 523, you might be able to work out some deal with them as I believe they are in starting to clear stocks in preparation for the replacement new 528 (5 series 2 litre twin power turbo) .... and again I heard there will be 2 variant, a base spec 180HP and higher spec 245HP (which I believe will be again a highline version) ...
After discount, 535 will be Sgd299K (with overtrade) ....but I believe you might be able to squeeze some additional discounts or benefits from sale person ..........

u r correct! 535 only forms less than 5% of total 5 series sales in SG ............ sgd299k is hell of alot of money! Current C&C promo, u can get the new S300 with AMG kit at around that price, if u offset all the freebies and overtrade .... I think PML is just sucking our blood with huge margins ... End of day, regardless of COE prices now, they simply play with the margins and overtrade (plus add-ons) to entice us ....... didnt I see somewhere recently here they sold record number of cars worldwide? .........

my ex-SE just called:
523 basic - 239800
523 high - 254800!!!
includes mother of all overtrades if got car to let go. overtrade amount he don't want to reveal. told me sunday is last order for current F10 6cyc. new ones will be coming in.
