heng, I still keep my metal rod.
Anyway, I give up on Liverpool already, after 21 years of supporting them!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

man u midfield used to share the goals.
looking at the current squad, none of them can be consistent scorer.

carrick, anderson, fletcher scholes, and even giggs....have duck legs this season.
against chelsea, giggs had a one on one with cech on his fav left foot, but he still crossed the ball in the box. wtf.
i think i can score from there. haaaa

You owe your metal rod to the ref. You are his biatch now.

21 years - means they stopped winning they moment you started supporting them.... wahahaha....

As a Birmingham supporter, I would say that Liverpool would have been unlucky to come away with nothing from yesterday's game. They dominated for long periods and had many more attempts on goal than Blues.

Having said that, it was a shame that the equalizer came from such a poor refereeing decision. Managers will tell you that hopefully, over the season, those decisions get evened up, but I can tell you as a supporter of one of the less fashionable teams, they don't even up at all - the Big 4 get the benefit of the doubt most of the time.

I suppose it would be too much to expect Ngog to apologize for his dive?

wonder if wenger claims he saw the handball since now Henry is no longer in his Arsenal team? hahaha......

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

France cheated their way to the World Cup Finals, that is how they will be remembered. I will spit at Henry if I see him. He is no sportsman.

There should be a replay to determine the real winner.

huh??? u mean blatant cheating is a small matter? didn't Keane scored?:shoot:

i'm neither irish nor french so? every neutral would have been infuriated, even the French are embarassed by Henry's blatant and shameless behaviour, aren't you?

The decent thing for the French team to do is to offer a replay, if not they just condemn themselves to be shamelss bastards who stole not just from the Irish but also broke the beautiful game.

Why such strong reaction? Have you ever played soccer and handled the ball, accidentally or purposely? Have you ever dived to win a penalty? Have you ever over-simulated an injury to try and get a player sent off? If not, I doubt you have played soccer (or any other type of ball game) competitively before. IMHO, a reflex action to handle the ball (especially when the ball is coming in so fast) is far less severe than the other forms of cheating in football I have described. If you deem Henry to be a cheat...than what about someone who handles the ball to avoid a guaranteed goal? Off the top of my head, I can recall Kolo Toure and John Terry who have done this before in the BPL...are they also cheats? Rooney, Ronaldo, Torres, Pires....too many egs to list, have at one point or another dived to win penalties. These are not reflexes, but rather calculated efforts to fool the referee....aren't they more severe than what Henry did? Yes what Henry did is cheating...but why the over-reaction and the convenient ignorance of other many more examples of cheating in football?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

axl also cheat. he breathes deeply when he tries to steal the ball away from me. i scared

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Kelvin lagi cheat. Ultimate diver.........

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I hate axl, he likes to make moaning sound when he's trying to snatch the ball behind u..

Are you saying that because so many others cheat so one more cheat is no big deal? Do you account for everything that happens? Why dont you start by citing the cheating cases that started since beginning of the world?:screwedu: It's simply ludicrous.

Obviously if you are careless in driving and hit something, the punishment meted out is different if you hit a pedestrian rather than a lamp-post.

I'm just citing an example to set the tone against blatant cheating, especially since it caused a crucial and cruel twist to the result. There's a genuine outcry and FIFA did take notice. I'm also a fan who have played soccer.
